Assistant Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities

To provide technical and management guidance and direction to the COWs.
To liaise with WPC site personnel to ensure all site works are carried out in accordance with drawing and specification and to the required work quality.
To assist the Resident Engineer (RE) to monitor the work progress against the accepted project schedule and provide advice to SOR on the mitigation measure in case of delay.
To review Quality Assurance Plan, HSSE Manual prepared by WPC and to ensure compliance by the WPC.
To assist RE to review method statements, proposed materials, shop drawings, and traffic management plans submitted by WPC for site activities.
To assist RE in response to WPC’s technical request and to liaise with design engineers for design changes.
To assist RE to review Site Diary, Monthly Progress Report, QAQC Report, HSSE Report, Routine Maintenance Report, Traffic Management Safety Report, Incident Report, etc submitted by WPC.
To assist RE to verify work done by WPC for WPC’s interim claim.
To inform RE if there is any work carried out was not comply with the project requirements.
To assist RE to review the as-built drawing submitted by WPC.
To assist RE to maintain accurate records and reports related to the project.
To assist RE to provide technical and management guidance and direction to the COWs.
To attend to any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the RE from time to time.

Skill Requirements

Location: Tawau, Kunak, Lahad Datu, Kinabatangan, Telupid

Salary: RM 6,900 – RM 10,350
