Access Transport Specialist (Engineer)

Job Description:

1. Responsible in planning and design transmission network for East Malaysia region(inclusive IPPDH & fiber LL) for all CB programs including AOP programs .
   1. Transmission detail link design requirements (capacity, technology, optimum parameters & etc)
   2. Detail link design validation & approval
   3. Ensure timely & quality transmission upgrade to cater capacity requirement to support CB and AOP programs
   4. Putting effort in VSAT conversion & lease line conversion to reduce OPEX spend
2. Project coordination with internal & external parties
   1. Work with Radio Network to sync up network capacity & upgrade plan, assure Tx upgrade plan is align with the network requirement
   2. Liaise with SM, Huawei on IP microwave link design, verify & perform approval, make sure design is as per Maxis requirement; trigger vendor for IP & VLAN configuration, ping test & migration
   3. Work with Network Rollout team & CME vendor on civil requirement to support Transmission upgrade and project deliverables

1. Creation of project code (PC), issuance of DRO, PR/PO, GR in NCR
   1. Meeting with vendors/consultants and site visit.
   2. Weekly MW capacity monitoring/compilation

1. End to end access planning and MW links management
   1. Liaise with vendors for MW projects
   2. End-to-end documentation process (Updating, scanning and uploading the Technical Proposal (TP)/esker)
   3. Request budget top up required by related project code
