Rollerman

Responsibilities:

- Set up the mill for every change of product size and roll change.
- Ensure that the groove profile is according to the pass design of particular size.
- Measure and record the roll diameter.
- Set up the roll according to pass line.
- Install and align the guides for every stand and adjust the twist angle.
- Set up roll gap according to pass schedule.
- Install cooling system on roll grooves and guides.
- Mill testing prior to rolling of first billet in every change size.                       
- Run through small billet and measure the stock profile.
- Adjust the gap accordingly until the required profile is achieved.
- Check the bar quality / weight, after the first billet and adjust the mill accordingly.
- Coordinate with QC on monitoring bar weight and quality.
- Periodic lubrication or roll chocks and roller guides.
- Periodic inspection of roll and guiding system alignment.
- Monitor for the roll pass and guide wear out.
- Assist in the repair of reheating furnace.
- Any other job related to the rolling mill as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirement:

- Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Higher Secondary/ STPM/”A” Level/ Pre-U, any field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in warehousing operations
- Reliable, committed, well-disciplined with right working attitude.
- Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia. 
- Able to speak in Mandarin is an added advantage.
